Thankyou for extending the deadline, I for one am grateful for it :) I thought I'd be finished by now but my baby's not well so I've not had too much time to stitch recently. Hopefully she will get better soon so I can finish my entry :)

I love the entries so far and I hope there will be more!! :good:

Hooray for extensions! I had to stop working on mine for 3 weeks because my coworker went on a trip to europe and I had to cover all her hours which well pretty much just left me time for sleep. But she is back and given an extra two weeks I should be able to get it down.

@ blackmageheart: I hope your baby feels better soon.

Woo! I'm super late to the party and I have never joined you guys in these contests, but I have an idea...Now I just hope it can get done in time lol :pac

I'm going to do Shadow of the Colossus:

I tweaked it from original pixel art done by Baz over at Pixel Joint:

I've been meaning to do this project for a while, so I'm glad that it kinda fits this contest :nod I'm going to the store tonight to go pick out the proper aida and floss. I think I'm going to go with a natural aida and a slightly lighter floss color for the forground to make it look "naturey" :pika

Thanks Nyami!!! Your colors are looking awesome! I love the juxtoposition of the crazy swirls with the silohuette. It's gonna turn out great

Here's my progress so far:

Image

I decided to go with black thread because when I started with the lighter thread, I didn't like how it was coming out...too washed out looking. I think the black will make it stand out more. So I have the sucker finally outlined, now I have the awesome job of filling it in. This will take forever :cray:
