I LOVE this! It's absolutely adorable. And the Game Boy framing for it is perfect!TheMainlander wrote:Once I saw the ending to the original game, I was totally motivated!
The Gameboy graphic really inspired me, so I embellished it and found that the screen had just enough room for the titular character, holding his little sign.
And, I had to stick with the monochromatic palette, since it truly defined the Gameboy.
I really enjoyed this challenge! I admit I was nervous when I saw Kirby's Dream Land as the chosen game, but now I really have to thank those who nominated it!

I'd also love it if you'd release the pattern! The Gameboy frame is perfect for a pattern I have in mind.

Kirby's Dream Satchel
The first Kirby's Dreamland was one of my first video games; I got it with a Gameboy for my 7th birthday. To honor that, I decided to make a protective felt satchel for my old GB games that have no boxes. I used embroidery because I've never done it before, and wanted to give it a shot, lol. Hope you enjoy, the scene is from Kirby's world transitions.

The processor in my laptop has 'expired', the computer that I did all my picture and pattern editing on, so I'm out of commission as far as patterns go. I hope to pull the hard drive and put it in an external case, and as soon as I do, I promise to release the Game boy pattern!RMDC wrote:Yeah - I hope you're going to release the pattern for the frame.
