Ideas for next challenge? Discuss! :D

A challenge theme that I think would be fun, would be the items that make games even funner! ...potions, power-ups, and character/game upgrades.
I think that everyone has their favorite objects to get in games. Examples would be like the firaball for Mario, the potions for final fantasy, coins/bananas equaling extra lives in games,
the hypercube in Bejeweled, the different types of plasma upgrades in Bioshock, etc....
I found an internet list that is exactly like what I was thinking.
I think it would be really cool to see what different things people could come up with

I love this! I think it would be fun to do a mash-up contest at some point as well. Mario as an FPS? Samus in Portal? I think that one could get really interesting

I like the items idea (lately i have been into small stitching projects). I think you could do a lot with them.
Other theme ideas just bouncing around my head:
- elements
- technology/innovation
- ye olde school (to counter technology)
- costumes/Halloween (kirby is a no-brainer)

I love the mash up idea!
I think that one would be real interesting since everyone always comes up with such different ideas.
also the costume one, maybe a character dressed up as another character?

Either the mashup or the costume (which could sort of be a mashup) would be pretty cool. Actually, I just got a couple of really funny ideas for the costume one... so yea, either would be pretty awesome

That power up idea sounds pretty neat, but we could more than happily run with that mashup idea. I'm not sure what my idea would /be/ exactly but I'm sure I'll come up with something!
