Stuff from our hometown is a really good idea! I'll do it too.
Let's see, scorpions, rattlesnakes, tequila, tacos... I'll find something that works.

My hometown is actually home to the longest jetty in the southern hemisphere, so I'll probably put ina few snaps of that, but beyond that I don't know if I can send food internationally (we have a pretty epic chocolate factory here, and some wineries) so I might just get some little knick knacks instead.

I guess I could include something representing the Indy 500...even though I've never been to one myself. Haha.

You can send food, but no alcohol. I send sugar free foods to my friend in Austraila all of the time since it is hard for her to find it there.

Probably depends on which country you live in as to whether or not food can be shipped. I think everyone has different rules. The alcohol part stinks though. Even worse, where I live we can't even buy alcohol and have it shipped to us, AND it's still against the law to homebrew (one of my many want-to-be hobbies)! We are one of two states where it is illegal to homebrew. Alabama needs to get with it!

I hadn't considered sending alcohol, but I suppose not everyone participating is old enough to have it anyway. You guys just made me want to have a shot, darnit! :P No booze for at least a couple weeks still...

Australia has pretty stringent laws on what can be sent out of the country, and I don't know about the border laws of my swap partners' country, so I'll have to look into it further.
