Re: JULY Challenge - Favourite Class!
I always pick the Knight or Warrior. I dont like to rely on tricks, sneaking in shadows, or distance attacks. I love to rush right into battles. When tackling an RPG or whatnot I usually spend days leveling over some movies on Netflix or whatnot. I max my defense and melee attacks. Any magic that I can aquire is usually based around defensive spells (Protect, Shield etc) or Enhancement spells (Haste, Attack Up etc, Speed Up). I usually dont worry about HP or healing because I am almost always over-leveled and go for the quick kill!

Re: JULY Challenge - Favourite Class!
I've been toying with an idea for awhile and this challenge ended up being a perfect opportunity, so here's my pushpin pally to add to the pile of wonderful entries.
So why Cecil as a paladin? I'm not sure if paladins are truly my favourite class, but when I first encountered one in FFII (or FFIV for you non-North Americans) the idea of a warrior being able to heal COMPLETELY BLEW MY MIND! Ever since then I've found them consistently over-powered, often overly convoluted, but always hilarious to play.

Re: JULY Challenge - Favourite Class!
First off, thank you to cilitra for the amazing artwork that i based my pattern on - http://cilitra.deviantart.com/gallery/
This was pretty easy for me to pick what to do. I have played World of Warcraft off and on since 2006, and i have always played as a druid. For those who don't know anything about WoW, druids can shapeshift into 4 different forms - Bear (for tanking), Cat (for melee DPS, like a rogue), Tree (for healing) and Moonkin (caster DPS, mage type, but beefy). Back when WoW first launched, druids were only valid in 40 man groups as healers, they could not do enough damage or tank to justify switching their role. I didn't care! I have been a Moonkin from the start, and was even allowed to raid as one back in Vanilla.
Things have changed quite a bit as the game went on, Bears are the best tanks, cats are crazy dps and healing as a tree is super fun. At the start of Mists of Pandaria (the most recent expansion) i leveled as a Moonkin, but at max level i started to learn how to heal to help out our raid group. Raids are much smaller now - only 10 man (or 25, but we did 10), and Moonkin were pretty low damage, so i was better off healing.
I currently don't play WoW, and doubt I will ever go back, but my Moonkin druids will always have a special place in my heart.
TLDR: I lurv droods - heres a baby moonkin

Samarin, that is ridiculously cute! My WoW main was a drood, too, before I quit. She was levelled as a cat but I later started raiding casually with a small group who helped me build her up as a tank - I guess between us we had the whole set

Could we actually do this? (Not Technology Management and Innovation for me personally...)
I know it isn't the point of the challenge, but I also immediately thought of my favourite class from university and know exactly what I would make for that.

Re: JULY Challenge - Favourite Class!
I've been super into Diablo 3 lately and just can't get enough of my Demon Hunter. So, here's a little stitch I did of the icon for my favourite Demon Hunter ability, Chakram, which fills the screen with firey chakrams that do massive damage to anything they hit.
Demon Hunters are wonderfully chaotic and really fun to play with abilities such as sentries that agro mobs from over a screen away, companions that can do anything from tank to collect gold piles so I don't have to, and an acrobatic vault to get out of any bad situation. Not to mention that she does it all while wearing a serious pair of heels. I can barely walk up a flight of stairs in heels. Oh, the wonder of video game ladies

Re: JULY Challenge - Favourite Class!
I usually pick someone who can heal, whether it's a mage, wizard, or cleric. I don't like to go into battle without being able to heal someway because I seem to almost always be underpowered.
(picture is a little dark, I was rushed) Sprite is from Hero's Saga Laevatein, a game I have not played but the picture is cute.

Wasn't going to do anything for this challenge as I couldn't really think of anything, but yesterday it just hit me, I had something right in front of me that I was about to stitch that would work nicely for this challenge. A little bit of editing and there you have it.
