March Challenge! - Craft Swap!!

One quick question though, Do we mail it as soon as we are done, or, Mail it in may?

I'm thinking when its finished? that way we can start getting updates ASAP as people post pictures?

but, then again I'm the one who always suggests opening presents days early, so my opinion isn't the best.

I am torn about it because on one hand I would like to see what people are getting as soon as it's done, but I worry (for others and personally) that once the updates start rolling in, people are going to possibly feel a bit of pressure about their own project getting done and worrying if theirs is enough. That might just be my own worries talking though. How do other people feel about it?

I totally agree.

I'm not too bothered either way but it'd be nice for everyone to show that they have worked just as hard as everyone else within the time frame given by showing their work all at the same time

For instance, I admit I did panic with the bookmark challenge - I posted mine first and then saw all the wonderful bookmarks posted afterwards and was like dang! they're freaking awesome and better. Since this is a 3 month/longer challenge, it'd be better if it were more relaxed?

But yeah ahh, I'm torn too.

OH, however I don't mind the idea of MAILING them as soon as we're done. Then maybe on 31st or a pre-arranged date afterwards we should all post the pics of what we received at the same time?

Not that my opinion counts for much since I'm not doing the craft swap, but if you mail them as soon as you're finished it will allow the person to post pics right away and probably have us all better appreciate them. If everyone posts all of their pictures somewhat close together the projects might not get the praise and admiration that they most likely deserve. it just allows more time for questions/comments and praise to the designer

Hmmm, I don't know either!

I guess we could always just send it out when we're finished with it, and then at the discretion of the reciever, they could decide wether or not they want to post pics on here early...

I wouldn't want to make anyone feel rushed, but I definitally do agree that if pictures are posted when the projects are recieved, we will all be able to check them out more, and appreciate the projects more, than over 15+ photos being released all in the same day.

Doesn't really matter to me, but I guess I am a little more for posting pics when you get the projects

i agree with this. if they come in one at a time, we can all praise each one as it arrives, instead of a big huge posting all at once.

I am in the camp of "send when finished and post when received".
Even if we all send projects out the same day, internationally shipped projects will take longer to arrive anyway.
I do concur it is difficult to admire a bombardment of pictures at once.
And the suspense would kill me. =P
