Anyway, it's Monday again so it's time for band number three! So pleased this one came out of the Hat - it's Journey!

Great work, everybody! I've also caught up but won't have a picture until later.

Woohoo! I loved this one when I saw it during voting. :3
Still haven't gotten last week's done, but I tend to marathon stitch anyway, so I should be able to catch up today or tomorrow. Been focusing so much on my other project that I forgot about getting the week 2 band finished... and the weekend got away from me.
Also, eventually I'll get that paper done for my English Grammar class... ehehehe...
This is the first SAL I've participated in (I've lurked on the site for YEARS), and I'm having so much fun!

*sobs* I haven't had time to start yet and we are already starting week three!
I have finished my last project tonight about an hour ago (aka 11:30pm). I guess I need to see about doing this, this week.
My original plan was to try an turn everything into shades of blue, but I tried some on a scrap piece (might not have been smart to use 28ct over one) and it didn't look great. Will have to get material and see if it was just the shades I chose =s

*sits in corner pondering*

Hey, I think the shades of blue thing would be great. If you're charting with kgstitch, though, be careful about color choice... kgstitch's color card is NOT accurate at all. I think a blue-scale would be very easy on the eyes and fun to stitch...
On a similar note, does anyone know if 741 is a good substitute for 740? or is there another one that works better? I have 741 but not 740... and it's been raining too much for me to walk to Hobby Lobby...

I had been looking at an actual colour chart. But funnily enough I prefer the KG Chart colour over what I had originally picked thread wise.qu33nofspades wrote:If you're charting with kgstitch, though, be careful about color choice... kgstitch's color card is NOT accurate at all. I'll probably drag all my blues together and fumble around till I find a set I like ^^
Doubt I will get done by April's end.
I envisioned this sampler as a gaming blue willow china plate of sorts LOL

Arkani used 608 in place of the 740 and it looks great.

Re: APRIL Stitch-a-Long - Samplers
I'm planning on doing some catching up today while my daughter's at karate (read: I'm going to try to knock out the rest of the first band
). I've got to do some research on Journey; I'd never heard of it before the pattern thread for this SAL.
