NOV/DEC Challenge - Design a Logo

by the 31st I meant the 31st...we will do voting the first week of January. no hurry. this challenge was supposed to be longer than needed because everyone is busy with gifts.

Here is my entry, something that would act as a logo rather than a banner. I've posted the normal size and a magnified one and written the sizes (in pixels) of each one. I prefer the top row and is the one I would use. The lower row is a slightly squashed version that could be used for the charity quilt in the other thread.

(I'm assuming that we don't need to stitch it up this time, as it is something for the website/merchandise.)

These were inspired by the Super Mario Land title screen

Edit: I wasn't totally happy with the shirt logo I made... So I worked on it a little more and this is what I have done. Hope it's okay (and that you guys don't mind) if I update my entry...
This is a lot of fun though!

almost forgot about my entry! Anyway, here it is:
