Time to start a list of things we gotta get around to going?johloh wrote:the merchandise was in the forefront for a little while, there is a thread on it somewhere. Its on the back burner for me now, with working on the book, but it is something that could be done. either in a challenge or whatever.

The current challenges are in the announcement section at the top. All the rules are listed in the first post.
Good luck

Re: Challenge Plans
I would really like to keep both the big and mini swap. The mini swap is nice because it is a quick project and there are lots of participants. But I really liked the big swap because you had a lot of time to think it through and create a nice set of items that suit someone. I do agree with having simultaneous challenges/stitch alongs, especially during the big swap.
As far as the prizes go, if we do have Sprite Stitch merchandise in the future there could be a special item only for challenge winners that cannot be ordered, to keep it special.
The way I see it we could have a merchandise-'chief' in two regions, North America and Europe, since that's where most users are from. They could then order the items at a local company and send them to Sprite Stitchers in that area to keep shipping costs to a minimum. I personally wouldn't mind to have to pay for shipping from the UK or something, while shipping from North America would be too much.
