Sprite Stitch Board!

I'm far too excited about how this came out to not share it with EVERYONE.


Stitched 2 over 2 on 36 count hand dyed "Crystal Dapple" Edinburgh cloth from PictureThisPlus.

Also I freaking LOVE this fabric. It's hard to take photos of, because it's SHINY.
Closeups manage it a little: But it's much more shimmery in person.

Anyone have some tips on taking photos of shimmery fabric/threads? D:

Not exactly a tip, but I remember having to take some pictures of a shimmery aida a few years ago and it came out best on a dark background and with the flash on - but I think your closeups have pretty much caught it!

One thing I have learned is kreinik and shimmery fabric shows up best when the camera is off-focus.
So closeups focusing on a specific bit of the stitch will show shimmer around the areas that are off-focus.

But can't really manage that for the full piece.
