Sprite Stitch Board!

I've been stitching this since finishing the Epic Pokémon Gen I. I wanted something a bit easier, so that I can decide whether to do Gen II...

Here's the progress so far:
I'm not entirely convinced by some of the shading. The darker colours are too similar to the lighter ones, particularly evident in the pink ranger, who should have a pterodactyl shape in her helmet, but it's not visible...

You may have to pull out the shades that aren't working and redo them in a darker shade...
Which is a bummer, but sometimes necessary.
You could try outlining the shape in the shade you are using now or a slightly darker one. Sometimes a few backstitches can make a huge difference.

I finished!
I'm pleased with how it turned out, in the right light you can see the darker colours, and I've decided I like the mostly solid effect that has been achieved.

That said, when I do a next series of Rangers, I'm going to experiment with the darker colours a bit more...
