LadyCass (updated: 1/27/15 Fallout 3 done)

Post by ladycass »

I just completed these magnets for my D&D game group members as x-mas presents. The weapons are from early final fantasy games for the most part with a little alteration on my part. Each player got their chosen class and favored weapon. (Still need to get the picture of the Rogue!)

They all loved them :) I like to make the group little special things or buy some geeky inside present every year.

That's gonna look so cool when it's done! (It even looks good with just the black stitches. ^^)

Thanks :) My 6 and 7 year old nieces were watching me do this and they were super amazed by cross stitching. I think I will get them some starter cross stitch stuff for kids.

Little girls (with a look of awe) : "That is so beautiful."
Me: "Thank you"
Little girls(enthusiastically): "You should put something up on face book to show everyone how to do that. It is so awesome!"
Me: "Well there is a lot of stuff on the internet showing people how to cross stitch already. I am glad you like it though."
One girl: "Can you make me a pony?!
Other girl (immediately chiming in) "I want a kitty ... RIDING A PONY!!!"

Looks like I have more projects to do after this! I love the enthusiasm of children. :)

Finished the Vault Boy. I will be blocking, ironing, matting and framing this in the future. I was pretty happy with this. I had a scary time getting the "washable" marker out. A 1:1 vinegar solution finally did the trick!
