I started a giant Nintendo themed piece that I'm working on as I get sick of stitching non stop blue on my Mario World 3 map.
My mess so far:

I think that is a really neat idea! Are you going to make borders around each section as well? This makes me want to make my own video game tapestry/sampler piece.
