Megaman 8-Bit Stage Select WIP

Post by TMurdock »

After seeing some of the other big projects around here, I started on what I think is the ultimate Megaman project - the ultimate Megaman Stage Select.
Below is the WIP so far.

And below is the image that I am aiming for completing within the next few months.

I hope this isn't too aggressive a goal.

It should be fun when it's finally done.

@.@ Holy crap, that's gonna be crazy when it's done! Good luck with it! :D

(I don't think it's too aggressive. I'd attempt something like that. XD)

Bloody hell, I'm working on the MM2 select screen to make a cushion and already doing the borders for each enemy is driving me nutsand I've only got 9 to do.
Good luck!
Also, no Dr Wily?

Well, this image just "barely" fits onto my 30" x 36" 18-count fabric, so when choosing how to fill up the two extra bosses for "Mega Man 1" enemies, I chose to pick actual mugshots of Megaman and Protoman/Blues rather than the simple Dr W Logo.

It took a bit to create the base image there as I had to standardize to the "modern" font for all the bosses, I had to order the Bosses in the DWN numerical order, then I had to make sure that the spacing was damn perfect. I'm thankful I only have to worry about 36 colors despite the daunting 290 000 stitch count for the 500 x 580 image :-)

Just wanted to give you a heads up--it looks like the 'h' is missing in Splash Woman.

Haha, yeah I realized that when I imported into KG-Chart - it's fixed there; I just have yet to update the master 'photo'.

[Edit]
See, I fixed Splash Woman in the image there.
