Now doing a Big Daddy from Bioshock for a bit before starting the Zelda Dark World. I may also go through my bag of assorted kits and finish off some of the ones I have started that are nearly done. Not sure yet when I can face stitching the same basic pattern in a different set of colours!

I probably started it about 18 months ago. However I rotate my projects and I was also finishing off my postgraduate degree so that took precedent. I also work during the day and don't stitch every evening.

But judging on my speed of completion of the last bit at my current speeds and just focusing on one project I would expect it to take somewhere in the region of 6-8 months start to finish. I have the dark world counterpart to test that time scale with. Which feels like a really short time but I forget I have been cross stitching since I was about 11 or so and I am now 23.

It looks stunning. It will look so great framed and up on the wall next to the dark world counterpart.

Last week I finnaly finished my map:

Took me 11 months but loved every step (or should I say stitch) of the way...
Now I just need to frame it and find a nice place to hang it.
