Yeah, I've done light blue and red aida for a couple small stitchings, but I dunno, I just don't take to using them much. I find that I am most comfortable when I limit myself, which is why I stick to just (or at least mostly) NES related stuff, and staying strictly (for the most) with stitching on black aida which while seemingly limited actually forces me to be more creative in my choice subject and how I can make it work on a solid black background.

All awesome as ever. Really enjoyed the change in background colour too, works very well with the pinks etc!

Re: Miss Clawful's Cross-Stitch Projects
So I was immediately grabbed by Hello Dolly's Nursery - you absolutely got the gentle atmosphere you wanted, because that's the first word that came to mind when I saw it. The story behind it is beautiful, and I never would have guessed that it's a composition piece, it fits together so well. Honestly, I wondered if it was a pattern you'd gotten from an independent company.
Mostly hibernating here. Find me on Twitter @rmdcade.

I love the doll one. I think you did a wonderful job creating a new pattern, and I'm sure she'll love it.

Re: Miss Clawful's Cross-Stitch Projects
Thank you.
My mom said it should make a good Mother's Day gift for her, but I don't know if I want to wait that long. I'm a patient person, I cross-stitch afterall, but not when it comes to wanting to give something to someone.
Okay, got me another stitching, and again its something I put together from several sprites from a few games but all from the same series of games and all related. Something really cute, kinda silly and a totally unique arrangement that took me a few weeks to put together (actually it sat for a few weeks then suddenly bam! less than a week ago I knew just what to do with it). If interested in the details, read first spoiler.

Your stitching is SO FREAKING AWESOME! I am in shock at the beautiful-ness of the backs. Just amazing.
