Looking great, guys! Moosette, I noticed you're doing something that I've always wondered about. When you're working on a project that's too big to fit on one piece of aida (or to comfortably work on) how do you deal with this? Your light world looks to be way too big for the piece of aida you're using so do you plan on doing several big sections and joining them together after? How do you do this without having a huge seam? I've wanted to start projects that are bigger than the aida I can find, or bigger than what I feel I can comfortably work with at any given time, but have been scared off because I don't know how to deal with this problem!

thanks so much for the kind words :) i cannot tell you how this whole thing will go together as i just do not know. i have never done a huge cross stitched piece before and when i asked to have this pattern made i wished for a finished size of 3 feet by 3 feet . never once did i figure that it wouldn't fit on the damn canvas. so when i went in to buy canvas i was quite shocked. it seemed logical that i could do it in four parts and then frame as one. i don't know how the seems will work out ... i don't know if the areas i join will have huge seams, or even if they will match up perfect .... i do however have faith. i have split the pattern into four even parts and will do each part (quadrant as i call it) then take it to a framer to be framed as one. I'm working on a hope and a prayer that all will join without issue. i am about 3/4 of the way through quadrant 1. once i get it done and start quad 2 and do a large chunk ill be able to line up the two and see how joinning will work. i couldn't find any info anywhere about doing this but hey someones got to try it right? wish me luck and i'll keep you posted on the project as well as joining :)

So I'm finally feeling brave enough to throw my hat in the ring with this pattern! :Link This is about two months worth of stitching (minus two-ish weeks because of work). I love seeing everyone's progress updates, they inspire me to keep going!
