Thankfully my neatness seems consistent... It all pretty much looks the same.
Tonight I finished all the white, now just al little black and lightblue left before I can go on with the 25 colors with the least amount of stitches left.
I feel your pain. that was the same reason I restarted this project. you just gotta ask yourself "is this bit really going to bug me or as a whole will anyone even notice?Ally wrote:You know how there are projects that you take when you first start stitching. You drop them to do other stuff and when you finally come back to it you're a much neater stitcher and all of a sudden your project looks like &^$#@$ compared to what you're doing now? For me, that project is this one, and all I want to do is rip half of it out... quite heartbreaking really!
That's exactly how I am. At any given time, I have three or more projects going on. And that's just cross-stitching, lolAlly wrote:You know how there are projects that you take when you first start stitching. awww don't cry! look at it this way, it'll be even better this time because you learn from every stitch you make, so in a sense you are a better stitcher now than when you started. plus, it feels good when you get new cloth and start fresh.Squeakielover wrote:I ended up getting new cloth and restarting it yesterday. I apparently did half of the stitching in my sleep and when I got to the section it was so far off it wasn't worth trying![]()
