I know I saw a really cool sepia Princess Peach - or maybe it was Zelda, but either way, it was beautiful.

You could find something sepia, and if you throw a blue gradient over it. You'd get something soft enough (colourwise) for the fabric, and you could basically do whatever you'd like.

Could be fun?

How about something from Frozen? Or a stlyalizes Articuno? It looks like it would be perfect for something snow themed

I finally started a project on this linen, a polar bear mother and baby from a book I have for a friend who is having a baby:

What I neglected to notice before is this linen is 40 count, so pretty sure it isn't intended for counted work. I'm doing it anyway, though! To the detrement of my eyes/neck.

Here's the progress since last night:

Go go Newcastle linen! I've seen a lot of counted work done on it and it usually turns out to be beautiful. Best of luck with the project, I'm sure it'll be wonderful when finished!

When it's done, it will definitely have been worth the aggravation!

Where did you acquire such gorgeous fabric? I only ever find plain old colors and whatnot, I must be shopping in the wrong places!

This particular one I got from http://www.needleworkersdelight.com/. Painfully bad website, but good fabric. They had a "grab bag" sale, and this was one of the random ones I got.
