@HornyPig: Thanks. I normally stay up waaaay too late to work on these, so I dunno if it's a matter of being fast, or a matter of wanting to cross stitch more than sleep. lol

@rogueprincess20: Yeah, I was soooo not expecting him to come out that small. That was only my second time working with 22-count, so I wasn't sure how small it was going to make everything. I think I may want to continue working with it, at least for the bigger projects.

I'm juuuuust about done with my first square. I ran out of the blue, so I can't finish it until I pick more up, but here's how it's looking now:

Since I ran out of the blue, I decided to start on my second square. This is from the NES game Fester's Quest, and yes, it's the Fester from the Addam's Family. I found this game soooo hard when I was a kid, but I wonder how hard it actually was? The colors are brighter in person, but my phone reaaaaally wanted this to be a yellowish color, so eh.

Decided I wanted to start working on making up some patterns. I'm kind of a perfectionist, so I have to stitch them all up before I make them. Here's my first one all stitched up. Katara from Avatar: The Last Airbender. It's based on a sprite from Avatar: The Burning Earth. Pattern can be found over here.

After running out of the blue for my Wayne Gretzky square (again!) I decided to stitch up my pattern of Aang. This was a bit more difficult to pattern because the original sprite was so yellow, and I wanted him to have a more "natural" feel to it. I still think he's a bit brown, but I'm still pretty happy with how he turned out. The pattern for him can be found here.

Stitched on 14-count off-white aida.

Number 3 in my Avatar series, and it's one of my personal favorite characters: Sokka! I'm not 100% happy with some of the colors, and I may have to change them later, but by the time I got to them, I just wanted to be done, so here he is. He's stitched on 14-count light blue aida (like Katara). My plan is to do Toph next, but I have to wait a bit, because I want to dye my own aida a light green, and I have some other things to get done before I do that.

Pattern for Sokka can be found here.

I just thought I would state that I recently got into Avatar, and I love these three! I'd love to see if and when you ever do a Zuko! :D

I just got into it too, kinda late to the party I know! I just got done with the first season, and it is a great show. Love these patterns!

Fester's Quest...now that is an unusual choice! Cool. I like to see someone else stitch something less common or liked for the NES.

Thanks! At first I couldn't find a Zuko to do, but I searched a little more and found one. I'm going to finish up my charity squares and a couple more patterns before I get back to these. Still need to dye that fabric for Toph....

Thanks. It was one of the games we got with our NES, so my brother and I spent many hours on it. As a kid, I thought it was super hard, but I'd be interested to see how hard it is now that I'm older.

I just got into the second season today. My friend was bugging me to watch it, and I caved and I'm glad I did! I'm totally enjoying it!
