Dragon Age Inquisition Portraits (WIP)

I really like Dragon Age and I've been having fun playing Inquisition. I tried to make a pattern of some of the character tarot cards, but with the level of detail those would have to be done on tiny aida with a billion colors. Right now I'd rather not spend that amount of time on a project. But I thought the Dragon Age Keep portraits were pretty cool so I chose those instead. The first one I did was Cullen. He's on red aida because I chose to romance him.



I'm currently working on Dorian and I think I'll start Sera when he's done. I'm doing each character in a different color aida. They'll either be hooplas or a quilt when I'm done, I haven't decided yet.

i do not know anything of this game unfortunately ... but i do know that coloured aida is AMAZING! this guy really POPS on the red !!

Great idea! And I am so tempted now to do a project involving the tarot cards... but like you said, who has the TIME. I think the Dragon Keep portraits was a really good choice. Can't wait to see the whole set!

Thank you! I definitely have the time to do the tarot cards (my bf goes to bed at like 6 or 7 so I have lots of free time), but big projects on tiny aida tend to drive me crazy. I thought the DA Keep style would be great since there aren't a lot of facial features.

Oh wow, that is lovely. How did you make the patterns for these?

I used PC Stitch. It's really worth the money, I've made and stitched about 6 or 7 patterns using it. You have to be careful not to limit the amount of colors too much, but if you let it work with too big of a pallet, you'll be switching threads every 2 stitches or so. It takes a few times to get the hang of it, but I really like the program.

Ahh your Dorian one looks so incredible. I romanced him with my m!Lavellan inquisitor and I love him so much. Totally worth making a file for.

I love Dorian. I'm so mad that your female character can flirt with him, but then you learn the awful truth that he's not interested in women. I almost cried.

oh those are awesome! I'm yet to romance Dorian, though i've watched his romance on youtube and certianly appreciate his assetts. Just him and Cass to go and i've romanced them all with different Quizzys.

(I don't know about anyone else but it'd be nice to have a renegade Shepard style option so I can punch Dorians dad...)
