Digimon Sprite LCD Recreations

Post by Icedevimon13 »

Since I'm a huge digimon fan, (obviously, based on my screen name  ), I wanted to do some projects based on the series. However, most of the game sprites from Sunburst and Moonlight (the latest DS games) are really big and I didn't have the time to start another large project.

So, the solution I found was to make 'mini' projects, based on LCD sprites of the digimon v-pets. I get my sprites from File Island. The sprites hosted here are 18 by 18 pixels, which when I stitch I extend to 20 by 20. Finally, I pull the edges of the fabric off to make the project look like a computer chip. They are really fun, and usually only take no more than an hour each. I don't even need to make a pattern, since they are black and white and so small :)

So far I've done Betamon, Seadramon, Agumon, Devimon, Angemon, and Tyranomon.
