. Borders aren't as bad as I thought, either. I did have a hard time picking the colors and I had to rip them out several times, but I think it turned out to be pretty good (sorry the photo's not great). Oh, and for scale, the gnome himself is probably the height of two quarters.

. Also I used plain white glue on the edges so it wouldn't fray. Worked out pretty well.
