Doesn't have to be, unless you feel it may have triggers for sensitive people. I think most people will read it regardless! And thank you for what you said - it helps to know I'm not the only one with these feelings and problems. :)
Gotcha, thank you for the clarification. And you're welcome <3

Today is full of minor FMLs.

Keen to start stitching on the stichalong I was sure I had the perfect piece of aida for it. However we moved house a few months ago and I havent had the energy yet to unpack everything. Needless to say there is not a single trace of any of my stitching fabrics, despite the fact I have seen them at the new place :(

I would drive to the shops and get more, but apparently my car battery is no longer doing the charging thing, and so is completely dead. God only knows how old that battery is. Car only works half the time anyway, I can't rely on it for anything and it keeps breaking down. Its not a car so much as a one tonne brick that converts money into tears of frustration.

Giving up on my sampler I decided it was time to find things proper homes in the kitchen. Thanks to an awkward cubboard I lost a cake tin down the back of the fridge, which is now being ominously silent. I really hope it is just cold enough already and not broken *nervous wait*

Thinking I should go and sit quietly in a corner and not try to do anything else today

Sherona. We have never met. Who knows if we ever will. You are a part of my family, no matter what. You keep us together and organised. You have a fantastic little mage who loves you very much. There are no words to describe how much you mean to so many of us. Of how much you mean to me. If you want me there I will do my best to be there. Always. Can this man say the same? Can he be there for you like we can? This is the basic point. The basic step of friendship. This is how you base a relationship. This man cannot fulfill this, there is no relationship with him. Simple and harsh but true. You are loving, caring, funny, honest, wonderful. Only do what you want to do. Take it step by step. Remember we are here for you.

I'm just so ready to curl up and be a lump for at least a week. The exam I took this morning didn't go as well as I wanted it to, which was probably in part due to the fact that my notes for the last 2 weeks poofed into thin air and I had to get them from a friend, and then the bloody app didn't want to show me the annotations she made, so I had to make some sort of workaround. Also, I have an exam on Friday, and I have the nagging feeling that even if I ace it, I'm not going to pass the class in part due to poor planning on my part and in part due to poor communication between the professors and the students. And this is a class I've already taken, although from a different professor, so I should already know the bloody material. I am just so ready to be done

Once upon a time there was a quality manager named Jim. He became friends with a safety manager named Todd. They were such good buddies that Todd took care of the safety reports Jim, as a manager, was required to put in. The evil corporate safety witch, Tait, didn't like Todd. So she found some reason to fire him. Jim was sad. Jim never learned about the safety reports he was required to put in. Tait's evil minion, Misery Moomoo, compiled the safety stats and ran to the evil witch to tell on Jim for not having reports. Tait began closely examining Jim's department, going on a witch hunt for any and all reason to crap on them. And lo, it came to pass that kryssiecat's job was threatened with a "final warning" for not wearing her seat belt. On a bus that doesn't go over 15 km/h. I hate this company and this stupid industry.

Guh! My child is being a little hellion lately! She's not been listening to anything my husband or I have to say, she's been terrorizing her new kitten, and various other things which are driving me crazy. Yesterday, she got into my flour and dumped all of it onto my bedroom floor (ALL of it). Today, she somehow spilled red soda all over the living room floor, got into my paints and painted black lines on her legs (to make her into a tiger), and while she was taking a bath to get those off, she put about an inch of water all over the bathroom floor. :banghead:

So...anyone want a cute little 3 year old? She's (mostly) housebroken.

Pyper - I bet your stitching stuff will show up when you aren't looking for it, stuff like that always does. And I hope that your fridge and car are ok, these are some of life's essentials!

QueenBex - thank you. I think of you as part of my extended family, which are more caring and supportive than my biological family. I am thinking very carefully about what I want to do and where I want my life to go, no doubt you and the other SSers will hear about it first. :)

Mishatu - although your exam didn't go as well as you wanted it to, did it go ok? Perhaps it'll turn out alright. Best of luck with the next one, remember to stay calm and do your best :)

kryssiecat - I wish I could Fire3 Tait The Evil Safety Witch for you. Hope it works out!

Kareesh - as far as I'm aware it's perfectly normal for little girls to suddenly be evil little minxes for a while. They come out of it, trust me. I can't give any good advice other than to remember it won't last. :)

Think that covers everyone for now. :)

Teehee. I'm sure this was awful to deal with, but it's a little funny to picture (in the "glad it didn't happen to me" category)

Yeah. Sad thing is, this is probably the 4th time she has gotten into my flour. From now on, it's going under lock and key!

Funny story. When I was young, around three years old, I got up one morning and went down to the kitchen and poured ALL of my parents spices into a big pile on the floor. Around the same time, different morning, I got up and got into the board game cabinet and dumped ALL the games out on the floor. After my mom spent roughly ten hours sorting those out, my parents decided to put two baby gates on top of one another in order to keep me in my room in the morning. The first morning they did that, my parents were woken up to my little three year old voice shouting, "How do you get these god-da*n gates down?!"
