Sprite Stitch Board!

Hi everyone I know I am new here but I was wondering if someone could give me a hand with this. One of my boys just love the game pikmin for the wii. I was wanting to make him a wall hanging for Christmas with one main photo in the middle and then surround it with the different color pikmins. Kind of using the different evolutions and colors of each pikmin as a frame so I don't have to use a mat when I frame it. The middle picture I was trying for a group photo of all of them together with the guy that has the light on his head, and make it around an 8x10 or so. It doesn't have to be that exact size. And the evolutions a little smaller to go around it. The amount of colors does not matter to me as for size I was wanting to use a 18 count but I can change if I have to. I know this is a lot to ask anyone to do. So Thank You if you are even willing to a-temp it.

Hi I tried to make a pattern of the group of Pikmin with Olimar, here it is!
It should be about 10" wide on 18ct aida, 70 colours.
I didn't have time to make a Pikmin border, but I did fish up some sprites I thought might be useful, if you or someone else wants to give that a try!

I was wondering about Olimars face. Half of it is solid no eye or anything. In the pic. it is darker then the other side, so I was wondering If I try to use the right side of the pattern for the left side of his face how would I add in the shading? Is their an easy way or just try and rip out if it doesn't look good?
