Here's my attempt at Image 2 (done in PCStitch 10):
It has 65 colours (I think? it's late here ^^). Let me know if you want anything changed!
I'm also giving your Image 1 a go, it's proving a little bit more awkward in terms of numbers of colours. But I'm getting there!

Thank you for offering to do that but don't do it for me. I'm just going through the patterns on the wiki list and collecting them. Since I haven't been active for a long time I've missed so much so I'd thought I'd try a new approach and try being organized, also it makes it easier for the kids when I let them choose what I'll stitch.

I wasn't going to say anything because I'm not done stitching the second image but I would love it if you finished the first one
If you don't want to do it though just let me know and I"ll try to find a more reasonable picture when I'm ready to start.
