Pokemon/Zelda mashup
Would anyone be willing to turn this into a pattern? I would like to stitch it on 14 count Aida. It probably won't require a lot of thread colors, but I don't mind if it uses a lot. Thank you!

Roughly 7" long and 4" wide maybe? If it needs to be bigger to see everything cleary that's fine! Thank you!

I wish I had created the meme, I found it posted on a fan page for a video game store. I've been trying to find a pattern for it everywhere, with no luck! I can't wait to stitch it though!

That is if anyone would be awesome enough to turn it into a pattern since I am not tech-savvy in the least.

Re: Pokemon/Zelda mashup
Hello Little_LampLight,
Instead of trying to clean your .jpg file (hard task), I made a pattern using the original NES zelda sprites, and the GBA "fire red/green leaf" pokemon ones...
I hope this will be OK for you. It's not exactly the same sprites, I'm not a pokemon specialist...
Question is : do we have right to "redo" a sprites mashup, to make a new pattern ? inspirated by an original one, like fan arts do... if yes, do we know who to credit ? If no, I'll delete this reply... I think the videogames sprites can be used almost freely, but what about the idea of a mashup... ? (sorry for my bad english, and my copyright knowledge gaps...)
Here is my version :

Thank you so, so much for all of your hard work!
In response to the question of the right to redo mashups/sprites, I have no idea. I would never attempt to make this sort of thing with the intention of gaining profit from it, so I assume that it is okay to recreate it in craft form just for fun. Thank you again!!!!

Just for fun / personal use is fine. If there was someone to credit, all the better!little_lamplight wrote:Thank you so, so much for all of your hard work!In response to the question of the right to redo mashups/sprites, I have no idea.
