I swear to God, I cannot get away from Crisis Core worth anything asjkfdhslkfhaf
SO, I'm trying to design my patch for the Child's Play quilt and I've run into a bit of a wall. I've gone through several versions of the pattern, seeing what I like and what I don't until I Frankenstein'd it altogether in my current pattern. Problem? This annoying as hell section under Gen's chin that I can't find a color that fits well enough for. :|

Ideally, I'd like a color that's between 3371 and 3031 in shade, but I'm unsure what color would work. :s
Also including the .sth file for anyone to experiment to see what could work there. :Bb
EDIT: I'd really like some help on this by March 2nd as that's when my Spring Break starts and I'll finally be able to get to a craft store, so if anyone has any ideas, suggestions, "it looks fine," whatever please let me know!
Welp, after re-looking at the pattern after so long, I'm actually trying to figure out why I wasn't satisfied with what I had. 8| Maybe I was just staring at various versions of it for so long or something, who knows. Oh well. If anyone was working on helping, I'm sorry for wasting your time. 'Scuse me while I go pick up missing supplies and get to work. o7

I've looked over the pattern and tried a couple different things, I think I know what you're talking about, and it has nothing to do with your pattern making skills. The issue here is the lighting on the original image, and what it's doing when it's pixelated this far down. I'm assuming it was some kind of a sunset shot? Honestly, it's pretty heavily shaded, so you can just do black over the blue and green tints and it wouldn't be that noticable, but i would recommend taking out some of the bright pink highlights on the skin and hair if you can, everything i try is just making a mess. If you have photoshop, you may want to put a little bit of a color filter over the original image and then try entering it again, maybe like a tiny bit of a sepia tint, which should take out some of the wild variations in colors, and would make the whole thing a lot easier.
