Colour Request - Pokemon

I want to do a stitching with the gen one fire types (fire red sprites), but I am struggling to find enough different shades of red/orange. What colours have people used previously and how did it turn out? I have DMC and ANCHOR availabel

Charmander/Charizard
Charmelion
Vulpix
Arcanine/growlithe
flareon
moltres
fire on ponyta/rapidash

Any help/suggestions would be great, as would links to finished projects so I can see how they look in contex

Have you tried searching on Deviant Art? A lot of people will post the colours they use alongside their finished pictures. It could be very time consuming though! I hope someone is able help.

If you're just doing the Gen 1 fire-types, then have a look at the Epic Pokemon Gen 1 pattern. I don't think there have been any problem with the colours so far.
