Vault boy/Fear and loathing mashup?

So, fallout and Hunter S. Thompson are two of my very favorite things, and I found this picture and DIED, it's just so cool! And then I found this website and DIED again, because it's even cooler. I have been trying to use one of the free chart makers to make this picture into a pattern but it looks like crap, and even with me shaking my fist at it and trying to touch it up before putting it though, well.... it looks like crap. Is there anyone willing to give this a try?
I'd like to go for 10.5"x8.5" on 14 aida, but a step down is ok too ^.^

hi, uploaded your pic as a chart.

had to make it 11 x 10 to get detail in vaultboy.....you could always trim the height down to the size you want as it looks like it just gonna be the background colour.
