Hi
I have this picture of Links sword that I really like. I would appreciate allot if someone could convert it in to a cross stitch pattern. I am thinking perhaps about 400x300 stitches and maybe 64 colours, it does not matter that much as long as it look nice. I would like to have the pattern as a pdf. If the pattern could be in colour it would be awesome.
Do you think it could work?

I'll try my hand at this one. This is a picture that I like too. Did you have a preference on the aida count?

So here it is. It's on 18 ct as most people seem to like that one.

I love this! I started it a couple days ago, but finally bought all the thread for it today. It's going to be HUGE....and I figured out that if I'm diligent I can finish it in about a year. But I'm not going to figure that out again, just in case I get discouraged. I have some pictures that I'll be sharing soon, and will take some while I work through it.
I now just have to decide if I should post updates with the pattern or on my own thread. Probably, this one...idk. What do you guys think?

Yay! I've got progress! Boo! I've spammed a couple threads! Here is where the first few pics of progress are:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=15059&start=10
And now for tonight's update! I'm almost done with the first page! The vine outline is all kinds of confetti greens, but looks really good put together. I was a little skeptical of the color/shade choices because the dark outline of the whole thing, which is supposed to be black according to the actual picture, is put in as DMC 500 (a very, very dark green). But it gives a cool look at an almost monochromatic picture/project. I can't wait until I start on another page!
