Game of Thrones Map (update pg.3)

Today I finally received all the thread and cloth necessary for stitching a map of Westeros from the Game of Thrones series!

Thanks to Servotron, who converted the image into a pattern for me, I can now start the biggest project I've ever stitched.

It's going to be approximately 8x17 inches large and has 48 colors.

No progress besides gridding for today, but tomorrow first color is going to be stitched

Here's my first progress picture. I've never stitched a piece with so many colours before, but it's fun to see how it's evolving (veeery slowly)

Amazing! I was just thinking about doing the same thing but a quilt version. Not sure if I'm up for another giant quilt though. I found this in my travels, thought you might enjoy!

Thanks for the pattern. I think it's a little too epic for my craft of choice (quilting) but would make a nice cross stitch

Some more progress Haven't even finished the first of the six pages yet, but at least you can see that it's going to be a map now

I love it! I've decided the crossover will be my first big project ever. lol I need to finish the smaller things first but, hopefully, I'll be able to start it near the end of this year.
