Halloween Project - Spooky Row

For a Halloween project, I came across this pattern:
http://www.123stitch.com/cgi-perl/itemd ... em=02-2524 and loved it. I changed most of the colors though, and decided to stitch it on burlap to give it an Autumn feel.
So far, I've done the cauldron steam in glow in the dark/blending filament (you can't see it in the picture, but it actually does sparkle and looks awesome.

I've also decided to do the alphabet in a teal instead of black, I think this will contrast nicely with the pumpkins.
Anyway; glow/blending filament on burlap
is as bad as it sounds. I don't recommend it. Or, at least, in no larger doses than this. It should look awesome when finished though!

I'm certain it is every bit as bad as you say, but I'm sure the result will be worth it! Keep us posted!

Got a picture of some of the shimmer; had to use really low light.

I totally read that as "hammer to face at high velocity" at first. >.>

It's going to look awesome! Glow in the dark on aida is bad enough, I can't imagine using it on burlap.

I'm alternating between this one and my mini swap project. I'm hoping to have them both done in time! (This one goes a lot faster than the other.)
