My iPhone case & a question

Hi all! This was my third attempt at stitching, my first iPhone case, and my first attempt at creating my own pattern.

My font test, using the included thread. The simplicity of this grew on me, and I was tempted to keep it because of the cool carbon fiber effect the blank canvas had. But the empty "cloth" allows SO much pocket lint/dust to collect inside the case.

Here's the finished. You can see that the default gray thread really gets lost in the greens. I'm tempted to maybe add some fancy outline to the text, but I kinda like the hidden aspect too.

So my question is for people who have this case: do you wash it?!

I made sure to get the Leese Design case, because I saw pics online of the silicon knockoffs and wasn't impressed with how the stitches "bulged". (plus, silicone case are sticky and gross to me). The case was kinda snug out of the box, and I figured once all that thread was in there it'd be a perfect fit. What actually happened was that the stitches stretched the case, and now it's looser than ever. Anyone else in this boat?

I don't have an iPhone so I can't help you with your questions, but it looks amazing! :clapping:

if it gets dirty, I would just spot treat it with water and a mild detergent.

you could try outlining the text with just one strand of a darker color to make it more visible.

I meant washing it as a way to "shrink it down" or "un-warp" it, to get the case to fit better. Does that seem like a viable "fix"?
