Discworld- Death

Death from Terry Pratchett's Discworld series of books. It's roughly 8 x 12.5 inches on 14 count aida. I'm not 100% happy with this, I think I should have edited the background so that the brown and blue on the right hand side carried on to the left hand side. I think I'll probably cover up most of the background with mounting board when I frame it. I'm really happy with his face though, and his hands are ok. I'll put up another picture when I frame it.

Wow !! That's quite a scary thing to look at!! In a good way too. I think the background changing colour is pretty cool. It looks like you used metalic thread. Did you? If you didn't it sure looks like it. Great JOB!!!

No metallic thread, I think it's just the way the sun was glaring off the light threads.

I like the background the way it is. My opinion might mean nothing as I'm a newb, but if you brought the brown and blue over it might look TOO uniform. I think it looks great that it's a bit uneven with the colours!
