Shark mittens

I've put these on my blog last week and now I think they're just too cool not to share
I got the pattern on Raverly, just type in 'Shark mittens'.
They're made with Tunisian crochet.

ARGH! I need to hurry up and get better at crochet. I've got that basic chain thingie down but turning it is so confusing. I'm so stuck!

Those would make awesome oven mitts... Wonder if there's any way to do that without melting/burning the yarn? Anyone make silicone yarn yet?

The snake sounds awesome! I was also thinking about a dragon, but I still need to think about how it's going to look.

These are made with tunisian crochet, I think it's easier than 'regular' crochet. You should give it a shot!
