Ok, so im almost done with an epic crochet project, but I didn't think it all the way through when I started it. Its a paper mache Deer head trophy, that I crocheted the "skin" for.I still have to fix the eyes and I think I want to add some detail to the base of the antlers... but anyway, my problem is that I don't know how I should attach it to the plaque that my brother made for me. The neck part is all wadded up paper around 2 empty pringles cans. The bottom is a couple pieces of cardboard. I weighs about 5-6lbs. Any suggestions?

Is it a flat bottom? My mom scrapbooks and absolutely loves some kind of double sided tape. You have to be careful with it because once it's on and down, it's not coming up. She'd make building scrapbooks like fairy houses and stuff with it. I just don't know if it'll work with the weight.

Maybe use some fishing line to connect the upper neck to the top of the plaque? I'd probably make it sort of a loop, where it starts at the plaque, goes down around the neck, and back up to the plaque.

If the plaque is wood, I would use something like Liquid Nails to stick them together. It is a construction adhesive that comes in tubes or a tube like caulking.

I really think you need something more than just glue- something that has more serious grounding. I'd probably run heavy wiring through the plaque and up the neck as I think the weight is likely going to mean glue alone will only work for so long.
