Some projects that I've finished...

Post by horrorjunkie »

Hi there! Just thought I would post some of the projects that I have finished. I'll start from the beginning and work my way to the most recent. I hope you all enjoy looking at my stuff!

This is Frankenstein's monster and his bride.

It was the first thing that I ever cross-stitched, so not all the stitches go the same way. I apologize for the quality of the picture as well; the colors kind of look off. I did it with three threads on 14ct Aida cloth.

You can find the pattern here:

The next thing I did was a zombie businessman.

I did this one with two threads on 14ct Aida cloth. I did a little bit better with this one.

The third one IS actually video game-themed. Pokemon!

This one was finished fairly quickly because I had a lot of fun with it. I ran out of a certain color just before I finished it, but it's not terribly noticeable. This was done with two threads on 14ct Aida cloth.

This pattern is currently not available, but I bought it from here:

I made this for my sister. Home is where the heart is and all that.

This was done with three threads on 14ct Aida cloth. I quite like three threads better than two.

I requested this pattern be made here:

Also a Misfits cross-stitch.

Both were done with three threads on 14ct Aida cloth, although the Misfits Crimson Ghost face was done on black.

The pattern for the Misfits one is here:

This one is something that I did for a friend. He plays a lot of WOW and wanted me to stitch him the Alliance symbol with his character's name.
Spoiler

The N looks a little wonky to me. Done with three threads on 14ct Aida cloth.

Alliance pattern found here:

And most recently, the biggest project that I have accomplished so far. My friend and I did an art trade; she gave me a custom painting, and I stitched her a bunch of spiders.

It took a little longer than a year to complete what with me stopping and starting and life things getting in the way. This was done with three threads on 14ct Aida cloth.

You can buy the pattern here (I modified it a bit by using metallic thread for the web):
