Sprite Stitch Board!

I thought I would post an embroidery project that I started over a year ago and have never gotten around to finishing! Hopefully, this will get me motivated to complete it. I drew this picture myself in my sketchbook with ol' reliable paper and pencils, and then I transferred it to cream colored fabric using transfer paper. I don't know if you can tell, but the girl is reading a book. Pretty much I just turned my daydreaming into an embroidery piece

Thanks so much everyone! It's definitely fun to turn my own designs into handiwork. I'm going to hopefully finish this after my charity quilt square and ill post pics when that happens. I'm thinking of adding beadwork to the canopy of French knotted leaves on the tree.....yup, that sounds like just the thing!
