Sprite Stitch Board!

Just finished this last night! It is Arabic calligraphy for "art" that I made for my friend who has studied the language and culture, plus she is an art student and loves anything that looks like fire. I was lucky to get it back so I could frame it...

This is fabulous. When I was younger I studied Middle Eastern art as a hobby (I was a strange kid) so it's nice to see something of that again! Even better to see it stitched!

Thank you everyone! I am really proud of this piece so I wanted to share That is awesome too, BMH! It was really a fun pattern stitch and see it all come together. So many color changes though. When I first saw it I thought they used different variegated threads or something.
