Cool!!! That's looking great. I can't wait to see it once the waste canvas is off!

Re: Pinkie Pie Tote Bag (WIP)
Haha, I'm right there with you! I'm terrible about waste canvas because I get bored with it half way through and spend the rest of the project fighting the compulsion to start picking at the corners XD So close, but sooooo far away.
::edit:: and at 22.5 hours.... I'm done stitching, whoo!!!
Now I have to take a break for dinner, but I'm planning on having the waste canvas removed before bed tonight ^_^
::edit:: And another near hour later.... DONE!

I'm almost positive that I won't get the price I want for her, but I'm just glad to be done for now!

Re: Pinkie Pie Tote Bag (Done!)
GNARG! lol.
It snapped a lot >.< Mostly in places where there were gaps between chunks of stitching (like from her extended leg to her face/hair, and then the words) But it was MUCH easier to get in the stitches and fish it out than the last time I had a snapping project. And eventually i reached I point where i was pulling 2 - 4 strands at a time with no problem.
I was doing my best to NOT get frustrated with it. It helped that I started pulling strands in my kitchen as I was waiting for water to boil, so I just told myself it was happening because I was rushed and standing awkwardly and I just needed to put it down and do it after I ate... which turned out to be a bold faced LIE but at least it helped convince me to take a break before I got homicidal XD
::edit:: here's an ACTUAL picture as well in case anyone cared. Gives you a sense of the size as well

It's turned out really good, well done! I really like the stitching inside the letters. I hope you get a good sale out of it x

Re: Pinkie Pie Tote Bag (Done!)
I have a bag to hold my WIPs, it's a 13.5" x 13.5" one though. This one may be a bit small to hold a whole lot (it's only 10"w x 8"h).
and thanks nipponnay, I think I'm going to get the price I want out of it, but it's still pretty low for the time involved!
