Two silly questions. What's a Discworld? I seem to recall it's a series of books, is it not? And the second question: what are the grid line things people seem to stitch in their fabric? Is that to aid counting?

Stupid stuff, aside, those are excellent. Good work people.

Discworld is a fantasy universe created by Sir Terry Pratchett, in my opinion the best author ever. It spans at least 30 books now, and is fantasy/parody genre. Read them. READ THEM ALL

The grid lines were there to help me count and track where I was up to. I put a grid on the pattern as well to make sure they lines up

That looks so cool. I'm a Discworld fan, but haven't read much for many years.

My local Goodwill had about fourteen of the Terry Pratchett books for $0.49 so I bought them all. Now if I can get time between nursing school, work and taking care of my grandparents, I'll start reading them. Thanks for the recommendation.
