That's a good brother.discoqueen wrote:My brother had been working on a piece for me since 2008. Always telling me that whenever he finished it, I'd get it for my birthday or Christmas that year. And guess what was under my tree this last Christmas

I went for the 8 color one.ladyhathaway wrote:Heyy,
I've lurked on these forums for a while, but since I've decided to use a pattern from here it seemed the decent thing to do was to sign up
I'm about to start Captain America and just wondered if you'd gone with the 8 colour or 16 colour version? I also read somewhere to check the colours when using some of the pattern software - did you find the DMC numbers were ok? It's the first time I've used patterns generated this way so would appreciate any advice
Your progress so far is amazing! The scale of some of the projects on these boards is seriously impressive. I'm really looking forward to starting one myself

Well, at least you're trying with a relatively small color number to get back in the swing of things.ladyhathaway wrote:I was contemplating the 16 colour one, hopefully not biting off more than I can chew. I used to cross stitch a lot, but it's been years - a bit like riding a bike though
I will see how I go with the colours and report back - happy stitching
