Transformers Bumblebee t-shirt

I told my 3 year old that I would stitch anything he wanted onto a t-shirt. What he wanted more than anything was Bumblebee from Transformers.
I used waste canvas, and I've never had such a hard time with it. The stitching part was fine, but removing the threads after was practically impossible. I tried everything. I had to get creative to finally get all the waste threads out.
The pattern isn't mine. I got it here: Here is a close up shot of Bumblebee:

I wanted to take a picture of my son wearing the shirt, but he was too shy. :)

I love it! My three and a half year old randomly asks me to cross stitch him game related things. Yes he's a dork already.
"I need to feel your cross stitch. Feels like 8-bit" - my three year old
