Twilight Princess Zelda plushie :D

Post by donnamevans »

So, after my mammoth attempt at my Dark Lord Ganondorf plushie the other month I decided..."Hell with it, lets make the Triforce trio"

Slightly smaller in stature than Lord Ganondorf, Zelda is still reasonably big and with lots of small detailing, which was quite nice to put together, though I still need some practice at sewing heads on <__<

Here's what she's made of:

-100% cotton body with poly fibre filling and pleather booties on her feet
-Felt hair, made in a few sections, with one actually plaited
-Real satin top, gloves and skirt, with patterned edging
-Gold vinyl armour, with fabric paint edging
-Felt used for dress banner, with fabric painted detailing
-Various rhinestones and diamantes for decoration
-Small bells placed in the braids in her hair at the ends, so she "jingles" when picked up
-Various Copic marker and acrylic detailing on her hair
-Earrings made from the same shaped beads as on her armour, but glass painted in red, rather than blue

I was thinking of putting her up for sale, but I might wait until I complete my trio before selling her on.
There is a small bit of work I need to do on her dress, but I will wait till I have my commissions out of the way before I completely finish her

Might take her to London Expo as well, if I can find the room in my case!

Comments welcome, of course! And thanks for looking!

*By the way, I know she has a long neck...um, yeah

Thank you SD!
She was really fun to make!
Still learning about special materials to use in plush making, mainly stuf that doesn't fray or is easy to stick, and I also need practice at sewing heads on! But I mainly just do my own thing and hope for the best! XD
