it is cool. but it makes me sad seeing classic games cut apart for new things...

Dude, sand the pins. This almost always works - seriously just take a little bit of the finest grit sandpaper you can find and run it back and forth over the pins inside of your cartridge based games. It removes the copper corrosion caused by moisture (remember blowing in your games to make them work? Yeah not such a good idea) and ta-da!

I have seen these out there where the game is still playable. I found an instructible a while back to make your own (which I plan to do
) that retains the original pins so you can still play the game. I don't plan on using the games I have had forever, but probably pick one up on ebay or somewhere cheap to chop at it
