I made three brand new quilts for my convention next weekend. One is the same quilt I also made for my swap, so I can't reveal that yet. The second is Shy Guy!
He is a lap sized quilt.
I will post the Creeper after I post it to my other sites on Monday.
I love it! I have so much respect for the quilt makers!
I've tried making them before and find that they don't hold my attention for some reason, which is strange because I can sit for hours cross stitching! I definitely want to try a game themed one sometime. I've always wondered, how hard is it to find fabrics that will be the right colors for the image?
I can't wait to see the one for the swap too!! : )
How hard it is to find fabric actully depends on the image. That is why I like working with Batiks so much. There are a huge range of Batik colors so it is easier to do more subtle shading.
The hardest thing is getting sold colors or "blenders" to use that don't have flowers on them.
I think so, Brain, but can the gummi worms really live in peace with the marshmallow chicks?
I think so, Brain, but if they called them "sad meals" nobody would buy them.
