I added another one!
I present to you, two pillows (*now three!*) Zelda themed of course!
Skyward Sword Heart Container pillow
Lamé is the most evil fabric in the universe. It's so delicate to sew through and frays extremely easily.
Between that and my Madeira gold thread constantly snapping, I wasn't sure what was worse.
This took a long time to appliqué, around 4 hours in total for that alone as it is double sided.
Materials used
-Gold Lamé
-Red Dutchess Satin
-Gold Madeira thread for the appliqué
-Yellow fleece for the lamé backing
-High quality toy stuffing (it's super squishy)
-11 x 10 inches
Skyward Sword Heart Piece pillow
I made yet another Zelda pillow, this time the Heart Piece from Skyward Sword!
Materials used
-Two tones of grey fleece
-Red Fleece
-Silver Madeira thread for the appliqué
-High quality toy stuffing (it’s super squishy)
15 x 13”
Majora's Mask pillow
This has taken a couple of days, but I finally completed it
I've been wanting to make a Majora's Mask pillow for quite some time, but I knew it wouldn't be that easy in 100% anti-pill fleece...but, I did it!
Using 9 colours of polar fleece for snuggly-softness, a range of coloured Gutterman threads and fabric stabilizer, I used an "edge-binding" appliqué technique to build up my layers, up to 5 layers thick in some places.
The only other material that was used apart from the soft, high quality stuffing, were the sixteen 6mm and two 10mm safety eyes for the detailing.
the 6mm eyes are generally used for amigurumi dolls, but I used them for the "air holes" in the mask here
*There is a tag on the back, made from a piece of ribbon that reads "Best of British"
Thank you for looking!
