HOLY BALLS!!! That is incredible!!! Omg such an amazing idea and it looks fantastic!!!! How did you come up with the idea? How did you put it together? Will you sell the pattern? Will you do anymore? Is it OK that I am completely fan-girling over this and you right now?

LOL. Yes, I am going to do more. I'm currently working on the moon. It is in scale to the Earth, so it is quite a bit smaller (about 1/4 the size) Should be done much sooner than this one. I also plan on doing other planets, Mars will follow the moon.

Not sure how I got the idea. I've been making shapes and other 3D things for so long now. I like maps, so it just happened.

Putting it together was fairly simple. It was all one piece, so all I had to do was sew the gores to each other. It was a bit tedious, but easy.

I am selling the pattern. You can get it in my shop: http://robinsdesign.net

Sorry, for the redundant question... I'm using an app to read and I missed that there was another page. Awkward...^.^;

So can I assume that you know that I designed it? Just to make sure, you can get the pattern in my NEW shop http://robinsdesign.net/

Just finished this one. I designed him several years ago. I'm toying with making a version with a torn shirt :grin:
