Here's a couple more I've been doing at work. For the MegaMan, I tried to mix a cyan for the lighter blue, but couldn't get it right. I might have to buy a tube of cyan to get the proper colour...

Sorry for the cliche, but, "If I can do it, anyone can." Painting is my worst art skill, but since pixel painting uses a grid, it's pretty easy. The hardest part is mixing colours!!

Hey ShampooTeacher, I am looking to get into this craft since I find it to be one of the more unique crafts out there, do you have any tips for a beginner, I just am perplexed how you get that nice, solid finish on the painting, I guess I am saying I just dont get it, and I really, really want to do this, any info would be great
Thanks, ~jinon

So, you paint on canvas with what type of paint?

My paintings are acrylic paint. For colours that I use a lot of I buy small cans of acrylic latex house paint, but that's just because I don't like mixing colours.
To start, draw a grid on your canvas. The smallest squares I can get away with painting are 5mm on each side. The first coat or two don't dry completely opaque so I usually have to do at least 3 coats. Unless I'm having trouble getting the colour right and it could be closer to ten! XP
It just takes a while to get the lines straight. Sometimes you have to repaint it a couple times, but the most important part is probably to have a small enough brush. I'll PM you some other helpful info.
